# Wishnests

> Create a nest for a birthday, wedding or any occasion, share one link, and collect messages, photos, videos, voice notes and cash gifts from the people who love you. Guests don't need an account.

Wishnests is a web app for collecting wishes for an occasion. An owner signs in, creates a "nest" (for a birthday, wedding, graduation, anniversary or anything else) and shares its public link. Guests open the link and leave a wish without creating an account.

## How it works

- **Owners** sign in, create a nest with a title, the occasion's date, a cover image and an optional closing date for wishes, then publish it and share the link. They can invite collaborators to help manage it, and if the nest is for someone else, invite that person as the beneficiary who receives the cash gifts.
- **Guests** open `https://wishnests.com/nest/{nestId}` and write a message, optionally adding one photo, video or voice note (recorded in the browser or uploaded). A wish can be sent anonymously. Guests can also add a cash gift, paid in Nigerian naira through Paystack.
- **Surprises**: a nest can be kept secret from the person it's for until the day itself.
- **After the occasion**, owners read every wish, send thank-you notes to guests, and cash gifts are paid to the bank account of the person being celebrated, after an identity check.

- Nest pages (`/nest/{nestId}`): the public guest page for one nest. They are shared by link and deliberately not listed in the sitemap.

## Notes for agents

- Every other page (dashboard, nests, wallet, profile) requires a signed-in account and isn't useful without one.
- If a person gives you a nest link, that page shows the occasion and a form for leaving a wish. Sending a wish on someone's behalf should only happen with their explicit approval.
- There is no public API for third parties.
